11:30am - 12:15pm: Women’s Health in Midlife: The Worst-Kept Secret in the World

Panel Discussion: Menopause happens to half the population, yet no one talks about it. Which means a whole lot of women get blindsided by sudden, often dramatic changes when they hit their 40s and 50s.  Midlife health changes caused by decreasing hormone levels can be pretty unpleasant: sex, weight, skin, hair, energy levels, anxiety, and even sleep can change, and usually not for the better. And don’t even get us started on the foggy brain, short-term memory loss, and rage! This session will tackle the physical and emotional health changes most midlife women go through, but no one talks about. You’ll hear licensed health care professionals talk through what’s normal and what’s not, and how you can take actions to care for yourself in ways you never imagined. Brought to you by genneve, we’ve created a safe environment for a candid, lively conversation. www.genneve.com

1:30pm - 2:15pm: Claiming Our Voices, Our Power, and Our Truth As Women

Featuring: Kelly McNelis, Founder & CEO of Women for One

Women have been around the block more than once—from fighting for our rights in the 60s and 70s, to being told we needed to be like men to succeed in the 80s, and then  ourselves in a new era where we have the power to make life happen on our own terms. Deep down, we already know we have the tools we need and the answers we seek; they’re just hidden beneath the weight of all that stuff people have been telling us we need to change. This breakout session will offer a series of tools for women to find power and beauty in their imperfections and take tangible action while uplifting themselves and other women in the process. Getting real about our messiness is the only prerequisite!  www.WomenForOne.com
